Corona Virus for Dummies – the HOSTILE HERD IMMUNITY

Here it is, Corona Virus for Dummies.

Politicians, medical experts on behalf of Government, Health Professionals, well meaning friends and Social Media tags will all offer you a narrative on Covid 19, Corona Virus.  Much or most will be vague, contradictory or temporary.  They hold your attention telling you this is life or death.  Some will even come clean and call this lifestyle or debt.

Alongside this ‘noise’ we have the attention seekers, the click-bait junkies, the smart arsed MSM and of course Uncle Tom Cobley.  This is all set against a backdrop of mistrust, lies, contradictions and mis-information, sorry alternative facts.

If you are confused … welcome.  If you are not confused you may be dim, callous, on something or missing a pulse.  Then again you may be one of those rare commodities nowadays, a thinker, a discerner … a cynic

In all of the above there is one thing missing, one thing that is so yesterday, so old news, so ‘uncommon’ – I am taking about COMMON SENSE.

Forget the jargon, this may be all you need to save your SANITY.

  •  COVID 19 or Corona Virus CV is a virus much the same as any other virus – it’s a virus.  If it gets into your body it can do you a bit of ‘ill’.  It can even ‘k’ill you especially, if you are in or standing outside the great departure lounge; however, highly highly unlikely.  That is the worrying bit, that’s it.  The plague it ain’t.
  • If you have had flu you have experienced a virus – that’s it.  If you have never had a flu, do you have a pulse?
  • CV like many virus’s will transfer from human to human either airborne or physical contact and then end up in your gub (mouth) and down into your lungs.
  • ATTENTION – CV can sit on many surfaces, work surfaces, clothes etc.  If it sits there for 2 or 3 weeks the sad little bugger dies.  It needs a host, one of us humans, or it’s curtains for the virus.
  • So now you know, it can just die ..  of loneliness.
  • ATTENTION – CV sitting on your clothes, your skin, you hair does not affect you.
  • ATTENTION – there is no test for, nor is it humanly possible to test for CV sitting on your sleeve.  In 3 weeks it’s dead anyway.  If you had the mother of all electron microscopes scanning every square millimetre of your external being every second of the day, that might pick it up – it’s impossible with today’s science.
  • Many months ago a single CV or a small group of them landed in the UK.  Since that time that 1 or 2 have spread to where we are today, many tens of millions of the wee buggers, breeding like rabbits.  Through the policies of isolation, masks, distancing etc we could isolate and kill off tens of millions of the little CV – remember, this all started from 1 or maybe 2 so this policy is utterly utterly useless.
  • ATTENTION – Can we kill it all. 100% … NO.  It is so small we would need an electron microscope and, oh, know where to look.  We absolutely cannot kill it all. The only thing humans have succeeded in killing off is other humans.
  • CV is with us, and like the 200 year+ old flu, it will be with us for a long time, probably forever, same as the flu.  The attrition rate of the flu is far worse than CV.  Guess what, we have a vaccine for flu and it’s still here.
  • ATTENTION – Now I said the CV left on a surface with no host will die.  CV in a hostile host will mostly die.  The host immunity system, coded, will actually kill it or most of it and it begins very quickly according to Deutsche Welle one of the most highly respected broadcast outlets in Germany [read what they have to say]
  • ATTENTION – If we go about our business adhering to reasonable standards of hygiene, keeping or minds and bodies as healthy and as strong as possible we will almost certainly encounter CV at some stage.  As a healthy person same as with the Cold or Flu our body fights back, almost certainly wins and we survive.  As more and more of us go through this process of staying healthy, catching and killing the CV the sheer volume of available hosts for the virus becomes less and less.
  • We will almost certainly never kill off CV altogether.  Of course we are surrounded by all sorts of virus’s, pathogens etc.  Eventually, CV will just be another one.
  • In the future, the odd person may get CV.  If this is a person at risk, a person with underlying issues it could be a sad day.  However, every minutes of every day it is a sad time for someone.  The attrition rate just for being human is small but there are many maladies out there that have our name on them, including Dementia, Heart Attacks, Strokes, Cancer etc.  In time, CV will be just another bullet in the great Russian roulette chamber of life.
  • Finally, by way of stats.  The attrition rate for CV in the UK so far is cc 43,000.  Official figures for Scotland 2018/2019 the attrition rate for flu related deaths in Scotland alone was cc 60,000.

If this last fact catapults you into a series of conspiracy theories please remember, part of the way of dealing with CV is to stay healthy of MIND … so STOP IT, JUST STOP IT.

IN CONCLUSION: I am not advocating herd immunity.  Herd immunity happens naturally with every pathogen, with a few exception that require intervention.

CV is interesting in it’s simplicity.  I originally called it Darwin19 because it picks off the weakest in society.  This is why herd immunity must NOT be a policy.  We must have a 2 pronged attack.

  1. Those people identified as generally in the low risk category go about their daily life as normal taking reasonable precautions.  One rule: you must be uber cautious when close to an ‘at risk’ person.  You are the GREAT MAJORITY and over time you will be the HOSTILE HERD from the perspective of CV, those who do not offer the virus a HOST and as your herd increases so does the host population decrease.
  2. Those at risk are now able to received the very best attention, treatment and resources because the lucky ones above, the Hostile Herd are NOT DRAINING RESOURCES NEEDLESSLY.

Over time, vaccines and improved treatments will improve the survival rate for CV sufferers.

CV will now be just another one of those (minor) threats to humanity.

AND FINALLY: If the truth ever, ever comes out we will realise that Corona Virus was never to problem.  The way it was managed was not actually the problem, IT WAS THE CONVENIENT DISTRACTION FOR FAILED GOVERNMENTS ALL OVER THE WORLD.
